# A first step for the neighborhood reading project

The neighborhood reading project now has a list of suggested books. Two volunteers have checked the titles.

## What is ready

The reading list is the completed piece of work so far. It gives us something specific to discuss as the project develops.

## What is still open

Meeting dates and the venue are not confirmed. There is no meeting open for registration, so this update is not an event announcement.

## What we intend to do next

Our next intended step is to ask interested neighbors which dates would work for them. That conversation has not been presented here as completed work. We still need to settle the arrangements before inviting anyone to a meeting.
