Local draft review

Find the next edit.

Use the article outline and writing-pattern suggestions to make a deliberate review easier. Your judgment still decides what belongs in the page.

Run a review

  1. Open your article in the workspace and expand Outline & draft checks.
  2. Select Check my draft. It inspects the current title and body locally, without AI or a network request.
  3. Use Edit line to select the passage in the article field. Edit it yourself, or keep it when the suggestion does not apply.
  4. Run the checks again after editing. Previous findings and their text positions are cleared when the article changes.

What is checked

Code blocks are excluded from the prose checks. Inline code is excluded from placeholder and word counts. The parser handles a limited Markdown subset; nested markup, reference links, tables, and other formats can be missed. Intentional repetitions and ordinary words can be flagged. At most forty findings and forty outline/link entries are shown at once.

Navigate and estimate

The outline follows Markdown headings in the current body. Selecting an entry highlights its source text. Approximate word counts include headings and link labels, but exclude code, image syntax, and link addresses. Reading time assumes 200 words per minute; it is an estimate, not a measured reading time, and word splitting is less informative for some languages.

Review the link handoff

Simple inline Markdown such as [A useful resource](https://example.com/) becomes a link in the preview and HTML reading page. Only absolute http:// and https:// addresses without embedded credentials are supported. Labels are rendered as text. Links open a new tab with referrer and opener protection; nothing is loaded until a reader selects the link.

Images, source HTML, relative addresses, fragments, reference-style links, email links, and unsupported URLs remain text in the reading page. Use Links & image handoff to locate recognized inline syntax, then adapt unsupported material in your destination. Page Markdown preserves the authored body for its own renderer. These checks never visit addresses or establish that they are safe, available, or accurate sources.

Keep the judgment with you

A result with no flagged patterns is not certification. Compare claims, names, dates, quotations, uncertainty, and permissions with your actual source. Check the downloaded file and destination preview. Use the human review checklist.

Checks never rewrite or approve the article. Check results and outline state are temporary and excluded from workspace backups and article exports. Copy check summary explicitly copies the findings, not source notes or private review notes; clipboard handling belongs to your device.
